Armistice Ball 2018 – Praising what is lost, makes remembrance dear

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the end of the first world war, Milsoms Kesgrave Hall hosted a party to remember.

On Saturday 10th November 2018, The Hangar at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall was dressed for the occasion to celebrate the 100th anniversary milestone of Armistice.  The amazing charity event raised an incredible £27,000 for ABF soldiers charity during Armistice Ball 2018.

Dreamwave Events’ Part to Play

Being fabulous friends with the Milsoms Group, we had to be involved in Armistice Ball 2018!  As well as donating our Evening DJ Service as a charity Auction Prize; one of our show stopping Dreamwave DJ’s delivered a party to remember along with the Band of the Army Air Corps during the evening’s escapades.

Preparation for Armistice Ball 2018

Preparations began days before with all the suppliers working together to make it a night to remember with stunning aesthetics! Our Dreamwave lighting technicians produced a jaw-dropping geometric hanging pendant lamp arrangement creating a key focal point during the event.

Dreamwave Events also provided full sound production for the event along with poignant gobo projections and a masterful illumination of the First World War bi-plane from Stow Maries Airfield creating a key central feature using our high quality up-lighting.

We joined director, Paul Milsom and all the guests for a 2 minute silence during dinner.  Whilst eating, guests were entertained by the acapella group The Testostertones and the Downton Abbey Dancers, before a charity auction.

The leading donation was the replica of the Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 motorbike the Flying Flea that made up £10,000 of the total of contributions

A fantastic evening was had by all and we look forward to the next event at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall.
